Could Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi be bigger assholes? Their Iraq Surrender Bill not only hands over victory to our enemies, but guarantees $20+ BILLION in pork spending and also gives Americans the biggest tax hike in U.S. history.
From a liberal standpoint, they gotta love this bill. It gives a rousing "FUCK YOU!" to Bush, the U.S. military, the Iraqis and the American people. It raises taxes and billions of dollars in pork (which they promised not to do). But their quotes are even better:
Dingy Harry:
Mr. President, this war is not worth the spilling of another drop of American blood. As it stands, this emergency legislation before this body tonight will send a signal to our president that it's time for a new direction.
Well, it's worth spilling blood until the election year anyway. And BTW, we're already going in a new direction which you assholes were for, before you were against it.
"Nazi" (Soros Pronunciation) Pelosi:
Calm down with the threats. There's a new Congress in town. We respect your constitutional role. We want you to respect ours. This war must end. The American people have lost faith in the president's conduct of the war. Let's see how we can work together.
"We respect your constitutional role"? Is that why you've been falling all over each other trying to take away the power of CIC and grant it to Congress?
"This war must end". So grab your sack and defund it. Don't want to spill another drop of blood? DEFUND it. End it tomorrow. Why wait till an election year? You claim to have a mandate and claim poll results which say you should. DEFUND it.
"Let's see how we can work together". In other words bend over, grab your ankles and lube up. That's how libs "work together" with Republicans. Work together. Like they worked together with the 100 hours blitzkrieg. Who does she think she's kidding?
But, but Rob, their bill will be vetoed anyway!
Yeah, I know. However, their actions and comments are still sickening and sad.
